For thirty-five years, Rees Broome has been part of the Northern Virginia business community. We are still across the street from where Jim Rees, Jon Broome and Joel Birken started the firm: “the street” is now booming Route 7 in Tysons Corner, and the firm has grown to forty attorneys with seasoned expertise in a dozen specialties from arbitration to zoning. Our clients have grown with us. They count on us for smart advice -- and for taking the time to know who they are and how they got there. We are big enough and experienced enough to handle virtually any legal issue you might confront. But we’re still young enough and small enough to know what it’s like to run your own business. Call us at 703 790 1911: our combination of big firm legal skills and small firm responsiveness might be just what you’ve been looking for. Firm News: Rees Broome, PC, is very pleased to announce that it is celebrating its 36th anniversary by opening a new office in Bethesda, Maryland, to better serve its Maryland clients. This will be the firm’s third office, with the others in Tysons and Gainesville, Virginia. The new office will formally be launched on July 6, 2010. The Bethesda office is located at 4800 Hampden Lane, a block off Wisconsin Avenue in the heart of Bethesda. The firm plans to focus on development of its Community Association and litigation practices by offering Maryland clients the quality of legal services and responsive attention to its clients that has been its standard since it first opened in Tysons in 1974.
Joel Birken has been selected by his peers to the 2010 "Best Lawyers in America" list in the specialty of Corporate Law. Bruce Titus has been selected by his peers to the 2010 "Best Lawyers in America" list in the specialty of Professional Malpractice Law. The firm congratulates Bill Daly on becoming President Elect of the Fairfax Bar Association. His one-year term begins July 1, 2010, and ends next July 1, when he will become Bar President. Bill Daly received the 2010 President's Award in appreciation of his dedication and outstanding service to the Fairfax Bar Association. The actual presentation was made at the June 9th Annual Meeting Luncheon. Tiffany Burton will be a presenter at the October, 2010, National Business Institute seminar on "LLC or INC? Entity Selection for a Small to Medium Sized Business.”
