Robert J Cunningham
Rob Cunningham represents companies and individuals as both plaintiffs and defendants in Virginia and federal courts, particularly in complex high-stakes civil litigation. He is also highly experienced in mediation and arbitration proceedings. In the real estate area, Rob served as lead counsel in a successful, multi-year, vigorously contested partition action involving one of largest tracts of undeveloped waterfront properties in the D.C. metropolitan area

Andrew B. Golkow
Andy Golkow is an experienced commercial real estate attorney, with particular expertise in commercial property acquisition and sale and commercial leasing.

Representative Experience

•  Serves as outside real estate counsel for a national restaurant chain, responsible for advising the client on all aspects of site leasing across the United States
•  Serves as outside general counsel to large privately-held regional company, responsible for advising the client on all aspects of its real estate acquisition and leasing needs
•  Extensive experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial real estate leases throughout the Washington metropolitan region
•  Represented insurance company in the purchase of commercial office building in Northern Virginia for twenty million dollars

Mark A. Moorstein
Mark Moorstein, who began his career as Cleveland Area Counsel for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, where he designed and implemented tax exempt financing techniques for low and moderate income housing, has focused on commercial real estate, land use (zoning, easements, subdivisions, condemnation proceedings) and civil litigation throughout his professional life. He has been viewed for many years as one of the top attorneys in Prince William County representing developers, contractors, subcontractors and lenders. He is local counsel to Virginia Department of Transportation in its condemnation proceedings. Mark also recently was asked to join an international legal effort to assist Cambodia in reforming its land use laws.

Patrick Via
Early in his career, Pat Via served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, responsible for site selection and acquisition, site development and construction, for PACER International, a telecommunications company. As an attorney, he then went on to specialize in all phases of commercial and residential real estate acquisition, development and construction warranty issues, with an emphasis on land use matters including planning, zoning and subdivision approvals. Pat also has extensive expertise in assisting developers with projects which require extensive local, regional and state governmental agency approvals.
