Mark, a Princeton graduate, holds his law degree from Temple University in Philadelphia.  Early in his career, he was the Cleveland Area Counsel for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, where he designed and implemented tax exempt financing techniques for low and moderate income housing.  He then joined the Real Estate practice at Watt Tieder in Washington, where he became a partner before starting his own firm in 1990.

Mark’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, land use (zoning, easements, subdivisions, condemnation proceedings) and corporate transactions.  He is also an experienced litigator.  He has been viewed as one of the top attorneys in Prince William County for many years, representing developers, contractors, subcontractors, lenders and the Virginia Department of Transportation. Mark is a member of the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce. He is admitted to the bars of the District, Virginia and Ohio, as well as the US Supreme Court, the US Tax Court and many other federal courts.
