Practice Focus Ms. Pape has substantial experience in advising common interest communities located in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. She serves as local counsel for numerous Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia homeowners associations and residential and commercial condominiums. She represents a wide variety of community associations, and practices in the General District and Circuit Courts in Fairfax, Prince William, Fauquier, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Orange and Culpeper Counties in Virginia and the District and Circuit Courts in Montgomery, Prince George’s, and Howard Counties in Maryland, and the District of Columbia Superior Court and Court of Appeals. She was recognized and received the Rising Star Award winner in 2007. Ami also lectures locally on behalf of the Community Associations Institute. Ms. Pape has extensive experience in representing Boards of Directors in governmental compliance issues, assisting Boards of Directors in drafting and enforcing rules and covenants, and providing advice and representation on fair housing law matters, operating procedures and association management.
