Banking

The banking practice group represents lenders in transactional, workout, and litigation matters.

Transactional: We prepare and review loan documents and advise clients on creation of secured interests and real estate title matters.

Workout: We prepare workout agreements and counsel clients in connection with complex loan restructures. We regularly provide services in collection cases and pursue foreclosure proceedings as Trustees and as counsel to the lender.

Litigation:
We are experienced in all sorts of litigation matters including trust disputes, complex real estate litigation including loan workouts, lender liability claims, check fraud matters, letter of credit cases, actions on commercial paper and disputes over secured interests
Our representation of lenders often includes general corporate advice as well as advice on compliance and disclosure obligations.
